Our two-week summer intensive courses build a solid foundation in observational drawing and the design process while utilizing the extensive visual and cultural resources of New York City. In the morning, students develop drawing skills and visual concepts in a drawing studio. In the afternoon, they explore a specific art or design discipline in depth through an elective studio.
Students place into a level, elementary, junior, or senior, and select one level-appropriate course that meets their specific interest. All junior and senior level courses include a morning drawing studio.
PARSONS PRE-COLLEGE ACADEMY CERTIFICATE PROGRAM
Parsons Pre-College Academy introduces the Certificate Program for students in grades 10 - 12 who plan to apply to colleges of art and design. The certificate curriculum is designed to help students create a body of work that reflects the strength of their ideas, skills, and understanding of art and design.
