Housing in Paris
Students reside in dormitories at Cite Internationale Universitaire located in the 14th arrondissement and a short distance from the Parsons Paris campus by Metro. Parsons live-in residence staff supervises, provides information, and organizes social events. The Parsons staff offers 24-hour support for program participants, including emergency assistance, and general help with language and transportation. Note: The Paris dormitories offer economical student housing and are not comparable to a hotel.
Four-week program: $1,900
Two-week program: $950
During the summer 2009 program, Parsons will lease space in three
dormitories on the Cite Internationale Universitaire campus.
Housing space is limited, and students receive assignments in the order
in which their applications are received. To reserve a room for the
Paris program, please follow the instructions on the Housing
Application. Applications must include full payment of $1,900 for the
four-week program and $950 for the two-week program.
Please note that the course Registration Form and the Housing
Application must be sent to separate offices with separate checks.

Students reside in single rooms. Some rooms have private bathrooms, and others have shared bathrooms on every floor. Laundry facilities are located in the building and nearby. Additional details and information regarding housing will be mailed after registration.
Students must comply with all house rules. Policies restrict overnight guests, late night noise, and phone calls after 10 p.m. Those students 18 and younger must follow a curfew: 11 p.m. on weekdays and 1 a.m. on weekends.
Meals
There is no meal plan. Communal kitchens are available in residences.
Students also receive lists of supermarkets, inexpensive restaurants,
and cafeĀLs in the neighborhood. Food expenses are estimated to range
from $40 to $50 per day.

and follow the instructions on the form. With your application,

Due to limited space, housing registrations are awarded based on the order in which they are received.

Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations must be made in writing and
received before the indicated dates below. Cancellations
should be mailed to the Office of Pre-Enrollment, 66 Fifth Avenue, Room 200, New York, New York 10011 or summer@newschool.edu.
Prior to May 1, full refund of tuition and housing payments less a $250 housing deposit.
Prior to June 1, refund of tuition less 20% penalty. No housing refund.
After June 1, no tuition or housing refunds.
Please note: These are firm deadlines and no exceptions to this policy will be granted. Should a course be canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund of tuition and housing fees will be issued.
