Registration

Registration for Summer Intensive Studies: New York 2009 is available below. Registration will begin on November 18, 2008 by 12 pm EST.

Online Registration

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and applications are accepted in the order in which they are received. The registration deadline is April 15 for Session I and May 1 for Session II, but applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible as most courses fill prior to this deadline. If a class closes before the deadline, students are contacted to discuss alternate courses. Class sizes are limited. Applicants should select a level, pre-college or college/adult, according to their age, and a corresponding course.

Tuition and fees for Summer Intensive Studies: New York 2009 are $2,853. Full payment is required at the time of registration.

Payment Methods
Please find below information on payment methods for tuition and fees for the program:

Online Registration:
Payment by credit card: Online registration is the simplest and fastest form of payment. Payment must be made by credit card only. Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted.

Paper Registration:
Payment by credit card: Payment can be made by credit card. Visa, MasterCard, or American Express are accepted. Include your credit card number and expiration date on the Registration Form.

Payment by check: Foreign checks are not accepted. Checks submitted for payment must be drawn on a United States bank with a United States bank routing number and account number Mica encoded on the check.

Payment by money order: International money orders such as American Express in United States dollars are accepted.

Payment by cash: Payment in cash can only be made in person.

Cancellations and Refunds
All cancellations must be made in writing and received before the indicated dates below. Cancellations should be mailed to Parsons SPACE, 66 Fifth Avenue, Room 200, New York, New York 10011 or summer@newschool.edu.

New York Session I:
Prior to April 1, full refund of tuition and housing payments.
Prior to May 1, refund of tuition and housing payments less 20% penalty. After May 1, no tuition or housing refunds.
New York Session II:
Prior to May 1, full refund of tuition and housing payments.
Prior to June 1, refund of tuition and housing payments less 20% penalty.
After June 1, no tuition or housing refunds.
The $250 housing deposit is forfeited in all instances.
Note: If a course is canceled due to low enrollment, a full refund of tuition and housing fees will be issued.
