Nora Krug

Associate Professor

Bio: Nora Krug studied set design and graphic design at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, where she earned a Bachelor degree. After gaining a masters degree in documentary film and illustration at the University of Arts in Berlin, a Fulbright scholarship brought her to New York to study in the MFA Illustration program at the School of Visual Arts. Her work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration and the New York Art Director's Club. Nora’s work was featured at festivals and shows in Europe, America and Asia. Her work has been published in BLAB, Rafe Royal, Orang Magazines and has been written about in the annual Visual Artists Review of Print Magazine, the Print Regional Design Review, CMYK Magazine and 3X3 Magazine. Her animated project How-to-Bow was selected for the New Frontier section at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Major clients include the New York Times, LA Times, Guardian, Playboy Magazine and Comedy Central.

Senior Thesis

Thesis projects integrate writing along with developing a cohesive body of art work which concentrates on a single theme.
